Landlord Insurance

With the current South Australian Residential Tenancies Legislation, a Landlord's rights in regards to their rental property have been severely affected. It is important to ensure your investment is protected with adequate insurance cover for building, contents and landlord insurance.

While an agent does their best to ensure you have the best possible tenant in your property, we cannot predict or guarantee the future.  I have seen tenants who have been amazing for 10+ years - then something goes wrong in their life, and a switch is flipped. Suddenly the rent is late, or it isn't getting paid, the house is trashed, there is domestic violence, or they just up and leave, abandoning their belongings and leaving you with a mess to clean up without sufficient bond to cover this. This is when you need to be covered.

There are many insurance policies out there to choose from and landlord insurance is very different to the cover that you take out for your own home.
